# Getting Started

#### Wallet Connection and Access

Access to PlasmaPerps is instant, requiring no sign-up or lengthy KYC process.

1. Access the DApp: Navigate to the PlasmaPerps trading interface.
2. Connect: Click the "Connect Wallet" button and select your desired Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet).
3. Approve: Authorize the connection.

#### Collateral and Deposits

PlasmaPerps standardizes trading to maximize efficiency and minimize complexity.

* Unified Collateral: All positions are collateralized in USDT (Tether), utilizing Plasma Chain's native stablecoin rail. This eliminates the need for multiple collateral types and simplifies margin management across different markets.
* Zero Minimum Deposit: There is no minimum deposit requirement. You can start trading with any amount you are comfortable risking.
* Instant Deposits/Withdrawals: Funds transfer quickly due to the Plasma Chain's low-latency design.

Cross-Chain Support

While the platform is natively built on the Plasma Chain for optimal performance, we support deposits from several major layer-1 and layer-2 networks.

* You can directly deposit funds from Solana, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), or Base.
* Our integrated bridging abstraction layer automatically handles the complexity of transferring assets to the Plasma Chain, making the process seamless for the user.
